Our first sale at Osmans:

Osmans is that big blue building you see in 475 Lansdowne Rd, Rondebosch, Cape Town. They sell watches, clocks, promotional gifts, batteries, electrical appliances, photo frames, stationery and many more items to choose from!

On the 14th of June, we sold at Osmans. We used two boxes as a table and put a green table cloth over it to make it look pretty. We stuck our products in oasis to make it look attractive. There was a watering can filled with soil, a plant and one of each products. On the big blue cardboard, we wrote a description about us and what we do.

We made a chicken dish with a creamy sauce. It had spinach, cheese, spring onion and rice. The spring onion and spinach was from our vegetable garden. We could only use these vegetables because they were the only vegetables that were fully grown. We gave out our free forks with every portion that one bought! We had nine portions.
We had fun and we hope to do this in the future. We raised a lot of money and we had very kind customers.
Our customer of the day was:
Jane
She lightened up our day as she was very kind and smiled a lot! She is also my neighbour's sister and our neighbour is my brother's old Afrikaans teacher.

What are we going to be selling?

We are going to be selling dishes from vegetables that we grew and when we serve these dishes, a nicely decorated wooden fork wrapped around with washi tape will come with it.
We will also be selling handmade plant accessories as a side product. A lot of effort has been put into making these products.
We cut the veld and used craft glue to glue the veld together. Then we cut the wire with pliers and used a glue gun to stick the wire and veld together so that it is strong and firm. Bright colours are good for your garden!

We traced flamingos on cardboard sheets from pictures that we found on the internet. We used different shades of pink paint to blend the flamingos and make it look attractive. Then we glued the wire with a glue gun.
